About Georgian Bay
Georgian Bay is a large bay of Lake Huron, located entirely within Ontario, Canada.
The Georgian Bay shores and waterways are the traditional area of the Anishinaabeg First Nations peoples to the North and Huron-Petun (Wyandot) to the South; thus making it a major Algonquian-Huron trade route.
It was named “Georgian Bay” after King George IV by Lieutenant Henry Wolsey Bayfield of the Royal Navy in 1822.
When I was walking back from B&H Photo and Video store to my hotel, I could see the Empire State Building from afar.
