A new LinkedIn newsletter focused on programming, open source projects, tooling, infrastructure, and data — curated weekly

I’m launching a new LinkedIn newsletter called Open Source Weekly.

If you’ve followed my work for a while, you know that a large part of what I do happens in public: building projects, publishing datasets, maintaining open source resources, and curating tools that are actually useful. Alongside that work, I spend a lot of time tracking what’s happening across programming, developer tooling, infrastructure and open source projects — not just what’s popular but what’s practical.

Open Source Weekly is a natural extension of that habit.

Rather than letting good projects and updates disappear into bookmarks and notes, this newsletter turns them into a consistent, readable weekly briefing.

What Open Source Weekly Covers

Each issue is curated with working developers, technologists, and builders in mind. You can expect:

  • Programming projects and libraries worth knowing about.
  • Open source tools and platforms that solve real problems.
  • Developer tooling and infrastructure updates that affect how things are built.
  • Data tools and public datasets you can actually use.
  • Brief context where it helps, without filler or hype.

The focus is on signal over noise. Not everything new is included — only what’s genuinely interesting, useful, or worth keeping an eye on.

Why Another Newsletter?

Open source underpins almost everything we build today, but keeping up with it has become harder, not easier. Discovery is fragmented, coverage is often shallow, and meaningful projects can get buried under trends and buzzwords.

Open Source Weekly is designed to be a filter — not a feed.

It complements the other work I publish across travel, digital nomadism and public-interest projects, but stays firmly rooted in software, infrastructure and data. Think of it as the technical backbone of my broader ecosystem.

Where This Fits in My Work

This newsletter doesn’t replace anything else I publish. Instead, it sits alongside my other newsletters and projects:

  • Curated links live in Open Source Weekly.
  • Deeper explanations, reflections, and build notes appear here on my personal site.
  • Project-specific updates continue to live where they belong.

That separation keeps each channel focused and useful.

Follow Open Source Weekly

Open Source Weekly is published on LinkedIn and delivered directly to subscribers there.

If you’re interested in programming, open source projects, developer tooling, infrastructure, or data — and you value careful curation over volume — this newsletter is for you.

I’ll occasionally reference issues here when there’s more context worth sharing, but the weekly curation will always live on LinkedIn.
